The Petroleum Department is going to take an important decision for approximately 30 crore LPG holders of the country. It has been decided to put a QR code in the LPG cylinder in the coming days.
With this decision, sellers will not be able to deplete gas from the cylinder during the process of delivering the cylinder to the home.
It is important that due to the increase in the price of gas cylinders, the cases of illegal extraction of gas are increasing, it has been decided to put a QR code on the cylinders.
Cylinders can be tracked with the help of QR codes, so that gas thieves can be identified during the distribution process. Hardeep Puri spoke about the project at World LPG Week 2022.
