Donations in the fight against Corona

Amid a 21-day lockdown in the fight against Corona, donations have been announced from businessmen, corporate groups ranging from IAS, MPs-MLAs, and temples.
The trust, headed by Ratan Tata, has announced a donation of Rs 500 crore, Akshay Kumar Rs 25 crore, and Sai Baba Mandir Rs 51 crore.



Reliance will build a 100-bed hospital
Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani has donated Rs 5 crore to the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The Reliance Foundation in association with BMC will set up a 100-bed center for the treatment of coronaries at Mumbai’s Seven Hills Hospital. An isolation center will also be set up at Lodhiwal in Maharashtra. The Reliance Foundation has also said it will cater to more than 1 lakh people.

Vedanta, Bajaj, will give 100-100 crores
Anil Agarwal, chairman of Vedanta Resources, has announced a grant of Rs 100 crore.

Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra has announced the creation of ventilators in the company’s units. Holiday company Club Mahindra has offered to open for patient care. Mahindra has announced to donate 100 percent of its salary to the Covid-19 fund.

Hero Cycles Chairman Pankaj M. Munjal has announced Rs 100 crore from the company’s emergency fund. So Bajaj Group has announced Rs 100 crore to improve health infrastructure, provide food and accommodation.

Vijay Shekhar Sharma has sought the cooperation of his associates for contributions to the fund affiliated with Corona. Paytm has donated Rs 5 crore.
A member of the IAS Association will donate a day’s salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to help Koro’s victims and the needy.
So BJP president J. P. Nadda said all BJP MLAs and MPs would donate one month’s salary to the Central Relief Fund to win the battle against Covid-19.
