Actor Rishi Kapoor has died at the HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai. The sage was 67 years old. Rishi Kapoor was hospitalized due to ill health and difficulty in breathing. Rishi Kapoor had leukemia and he breathed his last at 8-45 in the morning.
A message has been given from Rishi Kapoor’s family stating that Rishi has been battling leukemia for two years. And until the last breath, he kept entertaining the doctors and nurses who treated him with laughter. He happily breathed his last in peace. They remained lively until the last breath. Even in the midst of cancer, he kept a focus on family, friends, food, and movies. He was grateful for the love of his fans.
Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018. He was later taken to New York for treatment where the sage returned to India after undergoing treatment for about 11 months. Rishi Kapoor returned and started acting in films again. However, during the shooting of Sharmaji Namkeen in February 2020, his health deteriorated and he was hospitalized in Mumbai.
Rishi Kapoor started working in films from a young age. After starring as a child artiste in Meranam Joker and as a hero in Bobby, Rishi Kapoor never looked back on his journey to success. And now the sage has completed his journey.
